Hi,
Just replaced the clutch plate, pressure plate, release bearing and fork on my Sreg 300tdi. The clutch is dragging slightly and it is a little difficult to engage forward gears, but more so difficult engaging reverse. I can feel the clutch biting about half way up its travel as you would expect it to. I have bled and bled the system. Where could the problem lie,
Many thanks,
Steve

Thanks for the swift reply Andy,
Didn't wan't to take the gear box off again, so I said my prayers and then agreed to go shopping with the wife (comes to something when shoppping beats fixing the car). Just got back in the car, started it and driven it, clutch drag and assosciated noise gone!
Not all over yet, read my next thread about the handbrake lever!

your clutch might have cured itself for now but are you sure it hasnt chewed up your spigot bush? if it has the input shaft will not run true and may cause your clutch plate to break !
