I have an embarrassing question to ask, I need to swap out the bellows on the air springs. When I bought this basket case it came with a set of Arnott bellows but I have no idea which are fronts and which are rears.

I've checked the workshop manual and it has no information on the air springs. I do know the front and rear air springs are not interchangeable so I'm left with a small dilemma.

The difference in the height of the bellows is not much but do the taller ones go front or rear please

Rears are longer , front are shorter

The coned top plate is the front , and the flat top plate is the rear. The piston with the spigot on the base is rear and the piston with no spigot on the base is the front

Nice one, thanks. I was pretty sure the longer springs would go on the back (same as coils) but logic doesn't always work with Land Rovers!
