Pleased to join this forum! My rig is a 2013 Defender 110 SW (puma 2.2 turbodiesle). BAS tune, Ashcroft HD drive train, Hutchinson beadlocks are among the many mods that help her take my punishing desert offroading on weekends while being a dependable daily driver on week days. LS3/6L80 conversion is my upcoming major upgrade. Why? Because my landy needs the 350+hp at the wheels to race up the mighty soft sand dunes. I have good options to buy a ready LS3 engine swap kit from reputable UK companies but I'm also considering building it step by step with the help of a knowledgeable friend/workshop locally (more economical, better local support and a more rewarding build journey). Most of the conversion elements have been ironed out but we're stuck on a couple of items such as how to mate the LS3 computer with the Defender ECU for the stock gauges to work properly. Through this forum I hope to connect and possibly collaborate with members who have successfully executed heavy duty off-road oriented LS3 conversions on 2.2 Pumas. Many thanks...
