Message from Glass ass rep for Nth Yorks, Barrie Mounty. Can you please not use the route between Marsett and Stalling Busk. This has been severely damaged by water. There is a central rut that is about 4-5 ft deep and anyone using the lane may sustain damage. Spoken to NYCC who are to investigate the best way forward for this lane, Glass may put a VRO on it to avoid any further damage. Thank you:screaming_bug_eye_f
 
If this is the lane I am thinking of we came through this a couple of weeks back. I'm not so sure about water damage, looked far more like an upset farmer had taken to it with a digger (not saying they have, just looked like it to us considering it was perfect a few weeks earlier). Definitely not recommended.

It is water damage. Hawes had some really bad floods a couple of weeks ago. I think the farmer with the digger has just been leveling it so he can get into his fields.

Hoping to get up there to have a look tomorrow.
 
Ah I see, t'is a shame as it's a lovely little ford there. We camped up the road on Semerwater last year too on the car park, also a lovely spot :)
