to be honest they both poo, only bought LRO last month cos me mates disco was in it...the new products they review are good...but it ends there..spam galore in both of them
 
I like both of them. I do read a helluva lot of mags, it must be said! Both have good features and good articles, and provide a good few hours of enjoyment.
 
i only got lro last time as a present for the missus and plus i got a great gift of a teng 1/4 drive socket set!!!

i bought a few back issues recently, the gear guide & some "merchandise"...


Goin to do a years subscription when ive finished marvelling at the quality of the photography & articles...its like National Geographic for Overlanders-great stuff
 
For me - I now pick them dependant on monthly content as 30% (ish) is the same in both mags. No pref, just based on whot u want to read that month. Never hear of griffdowg's overland monthly so might search that one down as never seen it.

Isn't it funny that though lro claims to be a mine of good information and technical know how for landy owners, it has never once told anyone about the shocking poor quality of britpart spares. Wonder why:confused::eek::D:D
