Mainly metric on my 1989 90. Imperial ones that come to mind are the propshaft nuts and bolts 3/8"UNF 9/16"AF spanner size and the flywheel housing drain hole 1/4"BSP

Hey if they have an Imperial War Museum in London, do they have a Metric War Museum in France?

Dunno about the mints, but thinking on it they won't have any war museums in France will they. Plenty of give up and get someone else to fight for them museums though!

The Whole of Normandy in France is a War museum, Some of the buildings still have the authenticate Damage on them,
Not to sure their in to DIY out there, they all seem to build a new House rather than do up the old farmhouses, they leave those for the brits to do up.

Anyone looked at Landrover sites based in other countries? What is it about segments of Britain that seem to take pride in a kind of "anti-culture"?

The French have culture, and in Normandy where my house is they have an attitude and culture very similar to that of Devon and Cornwall, very Laid Back, however very passionate about things that matter,
Yes the french surrendered during the 2nd World War, But Faced with the Army of a country that had been preparing for that war for years whilst every one else was recovering from the 1st World war, If it wasnt for the channel and some good planes, england would have probably also been forced to surrender.

So in response to the comment of us knocking the french I stick up two fingers as a response, but you would probably miss the irony of that.

I was having a laugh it was an off the cuff remark and wasn't meant to be analized too deeply, have a look round the site before you start getting upset at a bit of "racist" banter. Next you'll be telling us the Welsh don't shag sheep and the tin miners realy love Ginsters. And no I don't miss the irony of the two fingered response.

yu got irony fingers - i wud see the doc if i was yu.

as fur racist - thank ya ickle socks yu aint american:eek:
