My gas conversion seems to cut in and out? I think its an older conversion as it puts the gas straight into the air intake. Is this a normal conversion and why would it be cutting in and out?:-D

check the trigger wire,single point systems pick up a pulse from ht lead,coil or coil pack

Sounds like it may need a service. Could be a sticky valve or a blocked filter or something similar?

It sounds like a single point system, old technology these days , prone to back fires especially if they run lean, but back the day it was the only conversion available.

yeah old system and will definately need a a service or updating.When you say cut out do you mean it cuts out or switches back to petrol?

what make/brand is it? is the switch emmegas ,aeb or other? the trigger wire is usually wrapped around no1 ht lead about 8 coils if its not it will trigger in/out switching
