We don't have an LPG section so I guess, this will do as it applies to my V8
tracing an LPG leak over the weekend, I was seeing a misfire on 2 and 3 an 'too lean' fault codes, which all make sense. with the engine off I gave #2 injector a prod and saw bubbles from the top (soapy water), indicating a bad o-ring. success!! probably.
the reason for the poke in the first place is a bigger issue
I had only been running for short periods while I sprayed soapy water all over as I didn't want too much gas build up, but also the vapourisers aren't plug in and will start to freeze if i leave idling for more than a few minutes..
I poked the injector because i'd just turned the engine off and could still hear at least one injector clicking not a regular pattern as you might expect, but more akin to the clacky-clack rhythm trains used to make when rails had gaps. it stopped when i switched the LPG dash switch back to petrol
any ideas? it only did it once yet i'd start/stopped several times while trying to find the leak
