ive heard its rearlly easy 2 change a 2.25 petrol 2 lpg but i was wonderin cud i do it at home and how much wud it cost what would i have 2 change its running a solex carb atm wud i need 2 make severe allterations or would it be a nice easy job n whats the best place 2 put the second tank 2 maximise load space as atm all 6'3 of me can sort of lay in back and sleep but wiv a lpg tank that jus cudnt happen and its ice being able to sleep in the back :)

now to answer your question

its gas if your not a gas fitter i would advise against doing it at home, you will need :
a vaporisation ring (effectively a gas carb)
an under sill tank
correct piping

I ADVISE AGAINST DOING THIS JOB YOURSELF, it requires a good knowledge of engine tuning to set the spark advance correctly, and an incorrectly fitted kit could kill you and your passengers/other road users

thanks thats alot of help im no good with puntuation and grammer and spelling as i have dyslexia or however u spell it sorry so ive given up and if i tryed 2 put it in you would just laugh probly. o right do u no wt a rough quote would be as im on a student budget and a 2.25 petrol isnt the most economical engine but it seems like a gd idea as i wish to keep the car for a long time as i cant stand all these horrible little euro boxes ans jap imports n stuff i like older stuff that doesnt have silly computers and is actually functional for sumone who lives in the middle of nowere and spend most of his time on friends farms thanks again
