Been checking over my rangie tonight as gotta get some stuff from paddocks tomorrow for the 90 so might aswell go shopping for the rangie too

As I was going over the engine bay I noticed a faint smell of gas from around the distributor for the gas system. Now I'm pretty up on mechanics but I've never worked on LPG stuff so basically what could it be, seals would be the obvious answer but I'm not sure what there is
Also the filler for the LPG system, I have a problem getting the nozzle to fit securely which ends up with me wiggling it about for 10 minutes getting it in an arquard position to make it fill. Not Ideal :') so is this adjustable ?

So anybody an LPG boffin ?

By 'distributor' do you mean the valve block?

Most have 8 gas valve solenoids, one per cylinder, there are inlet pipes, purge pipes and outlets to the individual manifold points on the blocks. I stripped ours down a while back and fitted new seals, but it was £85 per 4-way block, not cheap!

The LPG filler will probably have a non-return valve in it that is starting to leak, you may want to fit a new filler point.
