Hi Chaps,
Low screen wash keeps coming up on dash on my P38 2001. Level is topped up and washers working no problem. Not the end of the world but still winding me up, any ideas are more than welcome.

Have you got a small square of black electrical tape?

ffs thats a half a job
yer wanna take the bulb out or beat ones mechanic until he does it for one

It's another common fault. Just slide under the front offside corner and reach up along the washer bottle. There's the level switch, and then two pumps. If I remember rightly, the level switch is the inside of the three. I pulled the plug from the switch as a "temporary" fix until I can get round to fitting the new switch.... it cured the fault and now I can be arsed removing the bottle to fit the new sensor!
