Hi all,

Have a query regarding the L322 low range. When I put it into neutral and pull on the low range switch you can hear the motor operating but the low range light doesn't flash, or come on at all. However once the motor stops making its noises you can drive away and it's definitely in low range.

Also when in drive and knocking the stick across into manual mode the low range light does then come on, but it comes on regardless of whether the car is actually in low or high. My first thoughts are some kind of sensor getting confused, but I was hoping someone may have some idea of where to begin looking?

Transfer motor is known for having issues

It has a position sensor which fails and unfortunately the sensor is part of the motor so it can't be changed by itself

Didn't someone manage to fix one a while back.
