Ive a personal theory to be confirmed.
Ive a P38 4.6 HSE (1998) with EAS system in good conditions (at least I think) but a small and under dimensioned battery (please dont ask why).
I usually dont have any EAS fault. But it happens that I drive only very short journeys for a week or so and my battery get low. And its only under these circumstances that I sometimes get an EAS soft fault. By clearing the fault and recharging the battery (45 minutes drive on motorway) the problem disappears.
The question is: Do I have and intermittent high sensors going bad coincidentally only when my battery is low or it can be affirmed that low battery can be the cause of an EAS fault?
Whats your opinion?
