Welcome to landyzone fireplace for retired duffers with body odour.
I was listening to a radio talk show about the subject. Unless the COC stipulation is recognised by ulez then I assume so. But seems Khan the div doesn't want anything related to burning mother earth products. Thanks to Londonstan push for clean air policy, city's outside the M25 away are wanting a piece of the action too.
By the action of clean air policy, my guess, people who want to retain the right to drive using the devil's **** water, will do business outside and shop away.
We in Manchester and Salford suffer from an arsehole mayor for greater uselessness. The government wants clean air zones still and so the greater region towns and city's had lovely signs to say Under Review.
In reality Manchester city centre ill afford to go to, have very nice tall buildings built for new folk. So unless everyone got EV, bikes, and only EV buses trains transport then zero dirt ain't happening.

Hello and welcome to the mad house:)
i have an even older p38 dozzol and will avoid going in the zone, or use my highly polluting and smoking historic car that is exempt:D just to **** him off, i would love to sit outside his house with it running:rolleyes:

Let's face it all Defenders will eventually be consigned to living outside towns.

l predict the values of TD5/Puma will fall (already happening round here) and the values of anything older will go up, as it will be "classic" status

The real problem here is we don’t go out and have a hissy fit like the un washed youngsters glueing themselves to the road, personally I would not want to go to Khans world anyway but I can see it’s a real bitch if you live in his expanding area.

The Manchester one is currently on hold, but would have cost £10 per day to take any "Commercial" vehicle off your drive that wasn't Euro 6.

Several owners sold their Defenders to the local LR Specialist dealer, only to have the LEZ put on hold a couple of weeks before it was due to come into force!

How long before it comes back? Anyone's guess but come back it will...and it went right out to the County borders

Indeed can see many other towns following suit to the ulez
