Freelander, '02.

I get a loud ticking noise when driving sometimes, it only happens when I stop somewhere, at a toll, or when i'm about to park... ALSO I get a really loud ticking noise when the air conditioner is on, really loud.

and, any idea on why the 4th setting for the fan blower wont work? 1 2 and 3 work, but when I go to 4, its like it shuts off. nothing comes out.

fan prob is probably resistor network - do a search on "heater resistor freelander"

ticking noise is most likely a tractor grenade - spk to grunt
