Went to select reverse yesterday and nothing, no drive, bit of a panic as I was doing a 3 pointer and lots of traffic approaching so I'm unsure of how I eventually got reverse but got it I did. Did it again this morning and I ran through the range and it came back. When it did it for the 3rd time I had more time to watch what was happening. When put into reverse the neutral light is on and n showing in the message center. If I move through the gears and back to reverse it all works correctly.
I've had to select reverse about 6 times since the first hiccup doing the 3 pointer and for the last 3 it's worked as normal, straight into reverse, lamp lit and r in the message center.
Is there something i should be checking out before i get potentially stranded?o_O

Cable adjustment and lubrication needed maybe, otherwise an XYZ switch problem.

I've heard of that xyz switch reading other posts before I got her, didn't pay too much attention to them though, too much info overload at the time:rolleyes:.
Shifter is nice and slick, much slicker than my mates anyhow which had a dry rusty cable which we cleaned and lubed.
Can this ere xyz switch be removed easily and cleaned up? Guess it's on the box near the cable?
