Got a series 3, and my fuel and temp guage has packed in, I've got a live dark green wire going to the stabaliser behind the speedo but nothing coming out, any idea how much voltage should be coming out of the light green feed from the stabaliser to the temp/fuel guage? if it is knackered is it a standard landy box as there are no part numbers on it, thanks,

also got a bit of play on the prop shaft to the front end, not the uj, should there be none!

My landy once failed the MOT on worn splines on the front prop shaft. I took it apart, carefully wrapped tin foil around the splines, put it back together and it passed! I was a student at the time...

Simpler to take the front prop off and get it tested.

sounds like the stabliser.most classic cars have them they are standard items easy to get hold of if you know where to look go down the scrap yard if nr one,not sure of the voltage or amps but the st/liser only feeds the 2 temp and fuel,

voltage regulator for ser 3 you will get 1 in paddocks landrover spares.com
part no/148876, cost 5 75 and vat on top
