The last time a had an mot i only just passed on lpg which is odd as the year before it pass fine on petrol. The guy in the shop checked the carbs and said they were fine.

I noticed a loss in power and hesitation. The engine runs fine with not over heating

There is abit of smoke and it seems to be running rich with the sometime a smell of petrol but the carbs have been setup.

I have read that it may be the timing chain or camshaft as the car has done over 130k.

I know that the dizzy cap diaphragm thingy on the side may need to be replaced.
Heads and carbs were rebuilt last year
what could it be? Confused
