looking for some advice, I have a 1.8 05 plate freelander 1. I have had the cylinder head and water pump replaced and the car still is guzzling water (having to fill up the expansion tank repeatedly). There are no water or oil leaks (no water coming showing mixed with the oil). The car isn't overheating. can anyone give me some advice?

Possible cylinder liners. Not an easy or cheap fix.

Inlet manifold gasket, cheap and easy fix

Inlet manifold gasket. Cheap and easy fix.
It would be very unlikely to be the liner as it's not pressurising the cooling system or filling the sump with water.
