Hi again,

sorry, I know this sounds like a super-trivial issue, but it’s bl**dy annoying.

The Bonnet-mounted washer jets on my ‘97 P38 are loose allowing water to drip into engine bay and also causing their ‘aim’ to meander a little.

I bought a replacement thinking the new item would just click into place but it doesn’t and is still loose. There doesn’t seem to be anything which fixes or retains it into the bonnet.

can anyone advise on how the jets ought to be ‘fixed’ / located properly.

Thanks again

Bob

there should be a little rubber seal comes with the new jet to keep it from moving and theoretically keep water from dripping through

Aha ! That could be the issue. It came naked. The old rubber seal is still there but very loose.

I wonder if they can be bought separately...
