Can a LR 90 2.5 petrol wiring loom be used to replace a 2.5 nas diesel loom in a 1985 90? Or is it completely different

I'd assume no as Petrols require constant juice to keep them going where as a diesel once started requires none to keep it going so maybe it would melt ?

That said someone with experience could give an answer that isn't based on speculation ?

I'd say theres a likely chance its compatible, but if its goes wrong it goes wrong

I'd suspect it would be possible, most of the systems are the same, only ignition that's different.
The petrol coil wire would be more than enough to operate the solenoid, but you'd need to sort out glows separately.
IMO the fact you needed to ask I'd say don't do it.
easy to do for somone who knows, but easy to end up with a burnt out vehicle if you dont.
