hey...whats up...i joined cuz i need some advice on working on my '94 defender 90...any suggestions for some easy, inexpensive modifications would be awsome, thanks

Welcome :)

Give us a bit more info:
What will you be using the 90 for? Daily driver, weekend off roader, gentle lanes etc.
What sort of mods are you thinking of? Cosmetic, performance, comfort etc.

Someone in here will know

furry dice oh and some cheque plate should set it just right

you really need to talk to matto as he is our resident chequer plate expert

Thats right slob,i am indeed the chequer plate king, but dont ask about immobiliser's mate...grrrrrrrrrrr

ive already got furry dice...im gonna use it for off roading, and im looking for upgrades that will keep it upright and all the wheels planted

A nice set of mud tyres, a steering guard, light guards, a diff guard, waterproof seat covers, a recovery rope and a couple of shackels will get you started. Not cheap I'm afraid but worth it in the long run.

As for keeping it upright? Sorry, but you can't defeat gravity!

(stay away from chequer plating if I were you, more trouble than its worth!!!!)

No way, chequer plate is great, hides those dents (and the big crack where your mate reverses into a low wall, or does that just happen to me??)

Anyway cheq plate looks great.:)

Scott.

Yeah man, but forget the spacers.........Got what it is you're looking to do now. I'd only add a snorkel to Fishfaces V.sensible suggestions, you got better weather (ya bustard!) & a lot more dust than we got....We got more mud though & it ain't no bad thing.

Best,
Marcus.
