Dads looking to buy a newer car nowt to expensive but it must be in the luxury end of the market.He`s been looking at jags,volvo`s and bmw`s but yesterday he saw an 07 freelander TD4 5Door GS on the forcourt of a local dealer for about £13000 and liked the look of it.Now i know nothing about freelanders so does anyone have any advice,he`s not going to be taking it offroad much apart from getting his fishing tackle to the side of the lake.I tried to talk him into a new disco but mum does`nt like them so thats not an option any advice

I dont think the freelander 2's are as prone to problems but no doubt they have a new set of problems
