Morning Landyzone, I'm looking to see if anyone has found a means of making secondary door seals like those that were available from overfinch back in the day? From what I can gather they were essentially a an extruded profile rubber strip:

that was bonded to the window frame by means of pre-applied double sided tape:

Rather than go blindly prowling rubber catalogues, not that that sounds at all dodgy, I figure there's nothing new under the sun, so given it's ~30+ years since the RRC was Overfinch's bread and butter I guess that some of us enthusiasts will have made something for their D1/D2/RRC, maybe a stock profile, or a part from another vehicle?

Since two heads are better than one, I'm going to cross post this into the Discovery section, and if I get any good answers in either thread, I'll update the oposite one - cheers :)

A draught free RRC?
Whatever next.
I'm shocked.:)

PS. When you find some don't forget to let me know

Closed cell foam tape. Excellent for making all kinds of seals, and anti vibration strips, and for draught stopping.
Very cheap, and surprisingly durable. But if it does wear out, you can just pull it off and apply some more.
