I got a set of 6 of NGK Y-902R 2237 new.. (now replaced by another number)

but when changing them the threads are longer and wont go all the way in, is this right?

its a 2.5 dt p38 by the way

it should have Y-924J (stock code 3473)

the one i've got is y902r 2237, but still says on ngk site are for my engine, just old codes

they will have been superseded due to either the new ones are a better fit or a have better longevity

The threads don't have to go all the way in. As long as the nose part is the same length from where the plug seal seats they should be fine. Also put a little copper slip grease on the threads before fitting.

well im half way putting it back together now, so we'll soon see how it goes lol
