I know this is a real long shot....

Does anyone have a set of LHD lights for a 300Tdi Disco that I could do a deal on as we're off to France and I can't be doing with the bloody frogs flashing me when the gaffer tape has peeled off after a few hours of the lights being on or minutes of heavy rain...

Oh and I need 'em by Friday 9th for fitting and fettling if they needs the ickle white clippy things.

I've looked on the bay and they are just all new units at silly money!

If they flash then flash back with all roof lights and a bar lights as well. They'll wish they didn't flash then in the first place. They ought to drive on the correct side of the road then there wouldn't be a problem

If you can't get hold of any lights , use insulation tape cut into strips the correct shape to throw the beam into the correct direction.We are away to Spain every winter and mine stay on for 6 months no prob's.

Its years since I've had to do the old insulation tape trick. Never done it on a disco. Which bit of the lights do I need to stick the tape over...

If you have a photo - that'd be brill otherwise some good instructions would be just as useful.

Sorry can't help with the positioning of the deflectors ,mines a d2 facelift.I no longer have info for 300 series . Try a local L/R dealer mine gave me a sheet of paper showing the shape and position of the deflectors.

or go to halfrauds. they sell deflectors, and the guide states exact;y where to put them and wot shape to use.
