When I bought my Series III the intention was to just use it as a local runaround, especially with the price of petrol nowadays.

Next week I'm going to make a 130+ mile journey. Like many old Landy's it does tend to wander a little and keeping it going for a couple of hours plus is going to be hard work.

Just wondered if there was any advice from those of you that do distance in your old Landy?

Change yer seats?;) :D Just did nearly 1000 miles (11.5 hrs each way) the other weekend in a defender with a dodgy steering box! made for some interesting drivin'!!! Ah was so comfy in me seats ah didn't feel so knacked, in fact ah was so refreshed ah was back on here 'till silly o'clock after ah got home;) :D :D
