flat

guys.

I want to lock my bonnet. It's an ex-mil so has no bonnet release or hook and is held shut by series style sprung fasteners (and the weight of the wheel)

I would like to lock it, I am happy to rivet on a hasp/staple and use a padlock but just wondered if any of you chaps had any more elegant ideas?

Cheers

Ed

Huh never even heard of bonnet pins!

One of those might be good with a padlock

Cheers chaps might offer up a hasp/staple and see where I can fit it so it looks okay then get a good weatherproof lock

Much neater than a padlock. Areo Catch.

I have just diverted a hasp on now, let's face it my LR is t a trailer queen. Lol

I dunno how it would fit on a defender bonnet though as although it's flat none of the flat bits are anywhere near anything you could bolt the rod to surely?

Not really, theres plenty of space, just very close forward. Couple pics off google

Tis what I was going to fit to mine eventually, little bit of extra security plus looks nice

That does look well smart. Ok so I may have to make a bracket.

I may see if I can bracket off the back off the rad frame and just have one centrally.

Also what's going on with that landrover with the fuel filter there lol
