Had issues this morning opening the 90 in the cold.

Opened it from the inside having got in the back, but the problem I now have is the lock is still inoperable and the door won’t latch closed (even if unlocked I don’t mind)

Any tips or pointers on how I can sort this quickly?

Dare say a bit of oil and tlc wouldn't go a miss.

Build a garage? That’s old Landies for you! Cover the mechanisms in a healthy layer of silicone oil/graphite oil/lithium grease/whatever you fancy!

Even some WD40 sprayed into the lock barrel/mechanism will be beneficial in this weather.

Sprayed it with what I had to hand (WD40 contact cleaner) and left for 30 mins. Did the job for now.

1. Gentle tap with a infant squeaky toy hammer.
2. Next industrial oil rigger blow torch.
3. Good wad of Plastic explosive and a inch of electric charge fuse wire to a detonator.
4. Star Trek ship precision forward torpedo.
5. Lava flow from Hawaii active volcano.

After that you could try what they said above
