hello all still in the middle of my lightweight series 2a resoration/rebuild and have finally come to the seats - i've fitted some fiesta SI seats sort of bucket thingys theyre comfy and they fit but it just a bit tight uncer the steering wheel and your virtualy sat ontop of the pedals - any offers on where i can get some lightweight seats and subframes or whatever (i still have the fuel tank under the passenger and drivers seat althougth the drivers one is slightly holy!!!) / or some seat that will fit i have had my eye on some classic rangerover ones but dont know if theyll fit?
also where can i get footwells for a lightweight from? i assume series ones dont fit.

Correct! The vast majority of LW panels are unique to that model. I think the seats are standard series jobbies, but am not 100% sure. Nick a seat out of someone's series 2a or 3 and see it it'll fit. If it does you can easily get new ones from places like Exmoor Trim.
