Hi all on my 1985 110 2.25 petrol when I turn on the side and head lights the fuel gauge goes to full and temp gauge also goes up any ideas?.

Sounds like an earthing problem for the lights. At that age (same as my own) lots of the connectors and wires are corroded. I'd try running a new temp earth to the lights from the engine earth strap or chassis. If that cures it, look at the wiring back from the lights.

Thanks Zeaphod yeh that was my thinking I will give that a go and check all the other earthing points.

The bulkhead earth behind the instrument binnacle would be my favourite suspect
