once upon a time, I thought leathers seats in a car would be the dogs swingers.
then I got a very plush all leather, all singing & dancing Honda Legend 3.2 V6 flying machine.
the seats were cold and hard in the winter, and like an oven hot in the summer when you got in....
hated them....
time rolls on and flying machine flew away..
eventually got replaced with another flying machine, a lexus... but seems someone told lexus (toyota) to stay away from full leather, but fit part leather and suede like alicantra (or whatever its called)
result ??
so much better when you get in..if its hot - crank up the aircon, if its cold, crank up the seat warmers.......
the aircon is always set to 20c so it adjusts to suit any environment.

just remembered..........
back in the 1960`s I hand painted my jag seats I had in my mk2 zephyr ragtop..
they never did dry so ended up being covered in a plastic that looked awful..

Cows don't come in the same colours as seats, they are mostly black and white on the outside, and food coloured inside.
Leather, on the other hand, used to be made from "Connollies" which are now extinct or bankrupt.
Nowadays anyone can (esp. Japs and Septics)(ooh and Krauts and Frogs) put pig hide in cars and sell them to ISIL members.
Back to post, there is a firm called Bradleys who do DIY kits, OK for a quick tart up but no better IMHO

I used to look after the fire alarm at their Ashford plant, massive place, but the last time I went there (around 2001), it was just an empty shell, with a few skips of offcuts rotting in the car park.
