I have been conversing with a chap from Hong Kong who is travelling around the world in his Defender camper. He says that most of the cupboards in the back of his Defender are on the left hand side and this has caused it to lean too much.

What would be the best way to get his Defender back onto an even keel, so to speak? Can you get spring levelling rings or perhaps a spacer underneath the spring mounting plate?

Genuine LR springs have a slightly longer spring on the drivers side to take into account the driver interestingly enough, what is he keeping in his cupboards elephants ? Probably having such an uneven weight distribution is likely to cause other issues as well.

On his YouTube video, he had his bed on the drivers side (RHD) and everything else on the LHS. It’s not really surprising it leans over.
