My Disco 1 leaks from somewhere around the Alpine window when it rains! I think it may be comming in through the slightly rusty guttering on the roof but before i start taking it to bits i wondered if anyone has had the same problem?
If its the gutter i'll run some 'mastic' or 'seam sealer' along its length (if we ever get a dry couple of days!)
Has this quick fix ever worked for any of you?

Any suggestions appreciated!

hi towards the end of the gutter rail there is a joint just above were the body join rear quater panel in the gutter and side panel dig out old type mastic you will come to a selling tape refill with good sillicone sealent,you may as welll do both sides,when they leak it runs down were the rear speakers are fitted i hope this helps tiga. yes i done mine 4 yrs ago when i got my disco.

I`m gonna follow your advice on this too.The leaks in my Disco aint done my floorpan any favours.It dribbles thru the speakers & if the rain is heavy,forms a small lake in the roll back rear load cover.Hopefully mystery solved!mucky`un.

Cheers tigapiglet, I need to do mine when the weather gives in for five minutes. Another silly little design fault.
