After a week of rain I discovered the rear sunroof on my 96 Disco has leaked big time soaking the headliner and loadspace flooring. I suspect it is just the top seal that needs replacing. Is this easy - any tips please? Front screen is leaking at the top. Can I use a sealant - if so which sealant do I need? Mike

You may find it's just the rubber seal has moved. Open the window half way back and re seat the rubber seal (especially watch the corners) and then gently close the window. Leave well alone and don't open window to check because action of opening the window may make the seal move out of its channel! Cold weather makes it more difficult to re position - park in sunny spot before you try opening window to re seat the rubber seal.

my disco is a 1991 200 tdi. when i first got it my sunroof leaked so i went into my local lr dealer and asked about leaking sunroof seals." they ll do it mate" was the response from the lr dealer so i just fitted waterproof seat covers and nicked a teatowel out of the kitchen drawer to mop it up.

Yep! my sunroof leaks on my 1991 200 tdi. I have waterproof seat covers fitted but no tea-towel as yet! But by this time tomorrow the old kitchen drawer will be one "I love Scotland" tea-towel lighter!!!!
