I've noticed beads of red ATF oil where the arrows are in the picture. I checked the main gearbox and the oil level was OK although I did top it up. Is there a seal that could be leaking in this area and is it simple to replace (without having to drop the gearbox out)?

That's cleaner than most gearboxes I'd say. Your landy is just 'marking its territory'.

could be rear seal or leaking from the top ,any leak will end up depositing there

Agree with the above.

Also, have you check the levels for the Tbox
