Hi guys,

Does anybody know if seized springs would constitute an MOT failure? What else on the springs could constitute a failure?

Thanks everyone

exessive play on the shackle bushes
exessive corrosion to shackles
corrosion to horseshoe axle bolts
springs exessively corroded to the point of laminating or the bottom leafs curling

Thanks Johnny, with the exception of the curling leafs the other jobs sound like they can be fixed without the need for a full replacement?

original springs i feel were the best comprimise but your not going to find them now ,replacement ones vary from crap to useable ,unless you can get some from quality spring manufacturer

Brigg Springs not far from Louth or Hull. One man band, very amenable and reasonably priced.
