Hi there. I need some advice. I have a disco 2. Td5. I am messing around with the head at moment. And I've noticed that 2 of the lash adjusters move like they have a spring in them. All the others are solid? So the question is. Should they have a spring to them when pressed down with my finger. Or should they all be solid?

From what I can see from the above link, they should be spring loaded, but they shouldn't be soft and easy to compress with your fingers, neither should they be seized solid. It would probably depend on how much oil there is in each adjuster, if they are full then they should be hard to compress but if they were empty then it would be all about the internal spring.
I'm prepared to be corrected though.

squeeze each one in a vice slowly, they can seize solid
