Hey there... I'm interested in doing some green laning in this area. Do you know where I can get some maps? Or can you tell me how to get to the lanes you went on? Much appreciated. Nice pictures!

you can look at maps in the libary or bye them from wh smiths( i think its the landranger ones that show the byeways , pink in colour ), but you have to check which byeways are still open ( your allowed to drive ) best fun is to go to a pit and pay £20 for aday.

If your going to do any laning , please look at the diffinitve map at the local coucil for Traffic Restriction Orders (TRO's), this is the only way you can know if you can use it, TRO's can be perment, or temp. If you use a restriced BOAT then you could face a conviction/fine of some sort.

And please keep to the tread lightly type of code, have a look at GLASS for ideas of what this means, and keep what green lanes we have open, by respecting them and other users.

We used the routes from Landrover Owner International mag the routes were Kings Lynn off the A149 os Landranger 132 down sandy lane it runs along edge of Grimston Warren ,2nd lane Gayton Thorpe starts at st Mary Church ..Then we headed over towards Thetford Forest os Landranger 144 Harling Drove National cycle route ,2nd Hereward Way to Peddars Way

All lanes were very dry and we kept to the Green lane code etc Im only running road tyres so picked sandy dry lanes Hopefully be doing more lanes around Lincs and Norfolk in near future
