One of my mates had done a lot of work on a DISCO 1 commercial so we all went out with him at the weekend in the Oldham area to give it a stretch.

I’m always amazed by the quality of the lanes around Oldham that seem to get overlooked. The Ramsden road is a brilliant axle twister! This video includes a rough guide of the route we used.

All went really well but if you check at about 4 minutes in you get to hear what a blown hose sounds like on a PUMA engined 110.

I always like your videos, there well put together and well edited. ;) Another nice video here. :)

My only criticism would be: if you want your favourite lanes to stay open and not be ruined then I wouldn't put the name of it on your video. ;)

Just an idea. Because you just know some bell end will find it and ruin it for you and everyone else.

Thanks a lot mate, I appreciate that. That's an interesting thing you say about the lane names and I understand exactly what you mean. In fact the guy that organises most of our days has slapped my wrists about it before.

I guess your right but its a shame isn't it because when I post a video on a forum of enthusiasts I bet most would love to know where it is or even just confirm they recognise the lane!

This one starts with some basic terrain maps from my tracker. Its fairly vague and doesn't give the exact lane location. Do you think that's too much as well?

I think that's actually a good idea .. ;)

Those of us who already put time and effort into finding lanes that are legal and worth driving will take time (as I have) to work out from maps where the 'interesting' bits are. The ****wits probably won't take that time and probably, therefore, won't rip 'em up!

Anything that helps a little, but still makes it time consuming and requires some effort will probably put off the morons, but help those of us who don't get to places very often, but would like to greenlane when we/if do get there!

I'll have to put up a video of routes I've used before in the Memory map 3D flythrough mode, looks excellent!

Wot Paul D said :D

Those of us who can be arsed will be arsed to use the little info provided.

Keep up the good work with the vids. ;)

Cheers mate. I seem to have hit on a nice little combo of cameras that does most of the hard work! I love pheasant steps although still go to get my lot to try it going up!

Apart from bob who broke his diff in the process :( it was actually a very nice climb IMO, but then again I have clown shoe tyres and niiiiiiiiiice soft suspension so I just lay back, let the v8 brum brum and up she chugged :D

Nice bit of 3 wheel action available too as you will have noticed!
