right, been eyeing up these full glass sides for a 90 recently
LANDYGLASS - HOME PAGE

can any one tell me, how easy are they to fit and how robust are they, and what extras do you need,

im trying to persuade my mates to get them so i can fit them !

any experience ?

No experience sorry, but it makes a sw look like a hard top so is therefore a great idea!

It looks ok i guess. Were you to go to your local auto glazers and asked for smoked glass cut to size and fitted yourself far far cheaper. All you need is sizes, pair of glass sucker handles ( screwfix) and some tubes of glazing sealant from auto glazers. When you cut the nozzle intead of cutting straight across leave it at about a 1cm hole then cut a v about 2cm up nozzle so when you make a bead is a peak. This makes for a far better seal. For the weight of this glass i would say make 2 lines round on the sides. Make sure you have strong masking tape available and something to make the level at the bottom. Recommend putting rubber round on the inside to smarten up edges.

If you are going to eastnor that company is usually there. I will be too if you want a chat

I see this on a 90 on the way to salisbury every time i go. I always comment on how good they look, dont know if they would be much good offroad though, all that glass could be abit vulnerable to stones flicking n branches

i think its more for a classy landy than an off road one, but yeh i wouldnt do it my self chunky ..

if you did do the glass yourself,i'm sure it would probably cost you more in time, effort and sourcing the correct glass anyway, plus they are professionals at this sort of thing.:)
