Hi folks,

Here we have my landy for reluctant sale.

1970 series 2a/with loads of 3 bits on
2.25 diesel
88 swb
could br driven away on trade plates

The bad bits:
The vehicle failed the mot last october and has been parked under a tree outside since.
The failure points are, too much free play on the steering, worn wheel bearing and transmission brake. (hand brake) too much travel.

If i had some where to work in this vehicle I would have done this work but the winter was too harsh to do it outside and now summer is here its too hot. Besides I now have another one to play with.

I have all the documentation for this vehicle and is awaiting any sensible offer of £500 plus to secure. All viewing welcome. Please contact me on 07755732155 to arrange appontment.

ow and its a diesel! Yuk I'd only ever offer £100 for it if the body is straightish

2 weeks ago I got £130 for a swb diesel with rotten chassis, doors, bulkhead, tub literally hanging off, non runner. A complete basketcase. His will sell for between 350-550 if he's being honest about what it needs to get it through the MOT.

Not dismantlers!! Scrap yards fetching about £130 per tonne last time I checked??

Assuming thats correct, then it backs up my point saying that it was only worth a £100 was ridiculous. And as an aside there is something that doesn't quite sit right about sending a landy to a scrapyard who will then turn it into a cube :(

I think you've missed the point, This is the series section not the forsale section, it was late and we were bored. .
