Hi All,

After speaking with Landrover my rangie last visited main dealer in 2002 and had 3 pieces of work done, problem is they cant get any more detail than the service codes:

WLA219
A489
A387

The rocker cover has "replacment unit" sticker on the top and I was desratate to find out when this was done (obvs no paperwork for it)

Does anyone know (as the dealer cant / wont tell me...) what the codes translate into?

Cheers

Chris

Does the sticker say 'Genuine Parts Service Exchange'? If so this means the engine has been replaced by LR

I had a 1995 4.0se p38 many many years ago it was ex staffordshire motorway police vehicle & displayed the same stickers on the rocker cover this was due to it having a genuine l/r factory exchange engine;)which was common practice on police vehicles before they are released for public sale I was told:confused:
