Hi
I am scrapping my Auto discovery TDI300, one thing I have just uninstalled is some push pull hand controls for a disabled driver (Push for Brake pull for accelerator) , My wife does not have feeling in her feet so can only use her hands for driving.
Now these are not ones designed for a Discovery in fact if I remember correctly they were for a Honda Civic, I bought second hand on eBay and I converted them to fit, but my wife has been using them for the last 6 years without problem.
The only changes that you have to do to the existing vehicle is to cut a slot in the plastic door that covers the fusebox (but I can include the one that I have) and drill one hole in the metal frame the cover hinges on. I took loads of pictures when I took them off so they should be fairly easy to refit, although they can take a bit of fiddling to adjust them correctly.
I wondered if anyone knew somebody disabled that might be interested, or even a somebody that has a business doing off road experiences that might want to offer the possibility for disabled clients, I don't want much for them, I think I managed to pick up the originals on eBay for about £30 so any reasonable offer accepted, but I am in France and I have done a rough check and I think it will cost about £20 to ship them to mainland UK.
