Good afternoon, i hope I'm posting in the correct area. Does anyone or can anyone recommend and vehicle welding garages in Manchester? I've tried multiple garages and nobody seems to want to weld anymore. I only want the outriggers doing on my 90

Now is the right time for that excuse " I need a welder of my own" and legitimately go and buy a new toy:).

Could try truck or coach repairers. Scrappers or local independent guys on pathways. Also metal fabrication yards for gates.

There is a guy based in Norden, near Rochdale who is a land rover enthusiast and does car repairs. It may be worth giving him a call if he is near enough to you. The company is Total Smart Solutions.

I have just done mine but wouldn't have the confidence to do anyone else's.

You will be able to find his number via Google.

Oh yes, Worsley. I should have looked at his profile!

Not too far then - 15 miles but not a bad run (showing 22 mins on Google maps).

If the guy in Norden can't do the work I am sure he will know someone that is. He is quite active on the land rover scene.
