Just as a matter of interest has anyone ever got the free gift they offer for taking out a subscription I have now been given the run around for 4 months about the free gift despite being promised the offer was defiantly available so that they could get me to sigh up by direct debit. Every time I have rung up been promised that the items has BEEN sent out and be with you within 10 days (happened three times). Then told that the original item is no longer available and that another gift has Been sent out latest story noe to wait 28 days. I think I am being successfully lied to!

Yeah. I got my free compass a couple of years back when I thought it would be a good idea to buy a magazine full of adverts.

i got a torque wrench,
but there was bother with its delivery, as they had run out of them.
it came eventually though. And i'm pleased with it< dunno what it does though
Then the next gift was problematic, a camping chair, again caused people to get upset.

Bastids, you reminded me! Took out a subscription (as a birthday present) a year ago and nothing for a month, then chased, and was promised it was in the post, nothing, chased again, promised again, nothing, this went on for 6 months with me getting more and more irate and still nothing and then forgot about it. Note to self...cancel DD and subscription - there's enough ads on the ****ing telly thanks! The articles (which are generally still adverts from their sponsors) are full of dangerous inaccuracies too - fookin crock!
