I have a mate who is fettling a B plate Ninety. The only front grill stickers he can find are 'Land Rover 90', but, we believe that the proper syntax should be 'LR Ninety'. Any views on this and possible sources of the correct sticker? Ebay only lists the former one.

Mine's an F plate ('89) 90 and the front is Land Rover 90

The workshop manual refers to them as a Ninety, but as per the image above the bodywork badges use numerals.

“Land Rover 90” is the correct badge, as others have pointed out.

my 90 says defender lol but I'm no purist :rolleyes:;)

Yeah, but what year. I think Defender came in around 1990/91, so anything before then, and certainly 19j and previous engines, should be Landrover 90. After then and with standard 200Tdi or 300 etc should be Defender.

I think my grille surround came off a defender, so the badge is correct:p. but the licence plate and chassis says it is 1987.

Cheers
