As we have seen some cars suffer engine bay fires recently, this may be why

In the UK, Land Rover is recalling due to an electrical fault that may cause fire in the engine bay, even with the engine switched off.
The UK recall affects Range Rovers and Range Rover Sports built between 9 March 2012 and 22 Jan 2013, VIN SALGA2KEXDA000001 to SALGA2JE9DA110085, and SALWA2PF1EA000001 to SALWA2PE9EA000061. Land Rover will rectify the problem by replacing the cooling fan assembly. UK owners should contact Land Rover’s customer service on 0370 5000 500; the Recall Number is P044.

In the United States, Land Rover is recalling 28,037 vehicles due to a fault with the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
