Hi
Just trying to find out if it was just me or is this common practise.
Bought a new Freelander from Pillings Mar 05. Just before delivery they phoned and said for extra £350 I could have 3yrs servicing. Sounded good so I said yes and paid up.(by the way they are not my local dealer, they were offering deals online)
12 mnths later at first service they denied all knowledge of a servicing arrangement-they had carefully hidden the £350 payment on the invoice.
After a telephone argument they paid up for first service but are refusing to pay for next two leaving me heavily out of pocket.
If anyone else suffered the same treatment I would love to hear from you.
Land Rover customer services made sympathetic noises but claim they are powerless over their dealers!
