Hi everyone!

I have a Land Rover Range Rover 3.6 tdv8 07reg, I would like some advice on battery's, I didn't start up the car for 6 weeks and it didn't start up after obviously! RAC started it up and I took it for a good long drive, 6 days later today it's dead again, I think I need a new battery!

I have had Exide battery's and I think there quite good, I have a 353mm size battery and it cost £89. Is this the best battery to get? Another competitor is Bosch.

What battery's does everyone recommend?

Have you checked the alternator and or belt?

hi bye the way....


maybe you should get your battery checked by an expert who can plug a battery diognostic machine onto it.

I had to return a 18 month old battery to its place of purchase who found it to be faulty on one cell, and such was exchanged under its 2 year warrenty....surprised me !!!!

hi,before the natives get angry with you,it would be best if you went to the "introduce yourself" section and did exactly that,forum ettiquete.

ps look up Tayna battery's.great battery's,great price and lonnnnnnng warranty,delivered to your home as well.

I replace the factory fitted genuine battery for the first time on my 13 year old Discovery recently with another genuine one £115 delivered from the Land Rover Supermarket.
Turned up on a pallet with 2 man delivery!
Hope this one lasts as long
